Jailbreaking: What does it mean!?

One of my hidden hobbies that I've had since a early teenager is customizing and modding specific electronics and devices that I was owned, and was actually capable of doing. After i purchased my first iPhone several years ago, I was highly interested in changing the default layout of my phone and finding out new features that most iPhone users would not know about. So, bring in the idea of Jailbreak. What is Jailbreak? Jailbreaking is simply a process that allows for full write access on all partitions of the iPhone, or in other words, it allows you to access places on the iPhone that your normally couldn't access. Jailbreaking is beneficial because it allows you to install apps from sources other than Apple's store, run tweaks and utilities that will give your device added functionality, and also will allow endless customization to your device. This blog will show you some amazing things you can do with your iPhone by jailbreaking. Let me show you.

Note: In case you were wondering, In 2010, the United States government declared that jailbreaking is not illegal. It does however void your warranty of Apple's agreement.

  1. Haha, I LOVE how you posted the "NOTE", because that was exactly what I was thinking about the whole time I read this blog. I know your level of expertise is advanced when it comes to technology, but I didn't know you were THIS advanced! It's really cool that you were able pull this off. I liked the before and after jailbreak photos of your phone. VERY sweet!

  2. I'm very interested in this blog! I have an iPhone myself and I have always wondered the perks to jailbreaking it vs. leaving it how it is. I can't wait to see what you post on here! I really like that you can customize your iPhone however you want when you jailbreak it. I'm not sure if I would have the technological ability to do so though, that seems like a lot of work to me! and it seems really complicated too!
