My Top Four iPhone Apps!

Here is a list of my most used apps on my iPhone.

The Facebook app allows users to update their status, write on a friend's wall, or view and comment on certain pictures, and much more on this easy-to-use app.
If you are a Twitter user, Tweetbot is a great alternate from the official Twitter app. It runs very smooth, and does much more than most Twitter apps. My only problem with this app is that it is costs $2.99 and isn't free like most other apps.

Instagram is my default camera app. This free app allows you to take crisp clean pictures on your phone, then apply several effects to the picture to make it darker, brighter, or by adding unique borders to your photo. Finally, after you are satisfied with your picture, you are allowed to upload it direct to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or Flickr based on your preference.

Spotify is a free music application that allows users to search for any song or album to stream directly on their phone. Although it requires membership after a thirty day trial, it is well worth it. I use Spotify to add and create playlists of my own music on my computer. Finally, Spotify also allows users to automatically post what they are listening to on Facebook if they want that option.

iPhone Theming!

Jailbreaking allows you to create and use custom themes made in paint or Photoshop. Look at the picture on the left. This is my default screen before a theme is applied. You may have noticed that i have five icons in each row rather then rows of four that standard iPhone users are forced to have. This is an example of an tweak that you can download in your phone. This tweak can allow five icons in each row and five icons in the dock. Now look at the picture on the right. This theme is called "Sink." You can clearly see the transformation of the interface that has occurred. Each icon has been changed to fit the theme perfectly. The theme also has a widget (the yellow LCD that shows "Wednesday, March 14) where the date, weather, and temperature constantly scroll on my main screen! This is only one example of a theme. There are thousands of other to choose from!

Here is a final tip: Want to know how to capture or take a picture of the screen on your phone? Press the lock button on the top of the phone and the home button at the same time. The picture will automatically be saved in the "Photos" app.

Jailbreaking: What does it mean!?

One of my hidden hobbies that I've had since a early teenager is customizing and modding specific electronics and devices that I was owned, and was actually capable of doing. After i purchased my first iPhone several years ago, I was highly interested in changing the default layout of my phone and finding out new features that most iPhone users would not know about. So, bring in the idea of Jailbreak. What is Jailbreak? Jailbreaking is simply a process that allows for full write access on all partitions of the iPhone, or in other words, it allows you to access places on the iPhone that your normally couldn't access. Jailbreaking is beneficial because it allows you to install apps from sources other than Apple's store, run tweaks and utilities that will give your device added functionality, and also will allow endless customization to your device. This blog will show you some amazing things you can do with your iPhone by jailbreaking. Let me show you.

Note: In case you were wondering, In 2010, the United States government declared that jailbreaking is not illegal. It does however void your warranty of Apple's agreement.
